Making the introductions

Hi, I'm Adam Hayes.  This being my first post, I'll tell you a bit about me and some of the bullshit I like to do.  I recently quit my day job to make a go of it as an artist, primarily in comics but my interests range a bit too wide to stick to any one thing.  I'll be posting everything from comics and album covers to wax carvings, music and some of my forays into making movies with a few friends of mine once that all gets going.  I'm open to taking commissions, pop me an email and we'll talk.  I'll start posting actual art soon, I don't have much scanned in at the moment that I'd want to show right off as most of what I'm doing now is in starting stages and behind-the-scenes material only becomes interesting once there are scenes to be seen.  In the meantime, here's a Cthulhu image I finished for an album cover for a local band about 2 weeks before their bass player moved to Florida and the band broke up.  Heh.  I'm still friends with all of them though and the guitar player has a new project this image may end up attached to as I did the original painting for him regardless of whether the band could use it.
